In the year 1987, a television show was launched - one that would run only one season but would have a lasting impression on a rabid corps of fans who would give vital parts of their anatomy to have it released on DVD or, even better, resurrected and brought to mainstream television again.  Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future broke the rules of Saturday morning entertainment.  It had a great toy line and incredible storylines.  Its only fault was being before its time.
